Ligue 1 kicks-off with tie score... and three red cards (1-1)

France, Ligue 1, Montpellier, Toulouse | 2012-08-10 22:04

The start of the French league had a little bit of everything. Goals and sending-offs marked the 1-1 tie between last season champions Montpellier and Toulouse.

The first goal of the 2012-13 campaign in France was scored by Soulyemane Camara. The Senegalese player isolated at the front and put Montpellier on the lead, at 34 minutes.

Five minutes later came the first sending-off, also on the home side. Jamel Saihi made a harsh tackle over his opponent and the referee had no other choice but to book him for a straight red card.

In the second period Toulouse reached the leveller, thanks to the effort of Yedder, with a header, at 72 minutes.

And after the equalizer two more red cards were shown, firstly Adrien Ragattin, who had just come in as a substitute, and then, at 84 minutes, Serge Aurier also saw the red card.
