Transfer window, Valencia, Real Madrid, Gago | 2012-07-20 16:49

Real Madrid and Valencia have reached an agreement for the transfer of Fernando Gago, it has been confirmed.

Los Che are believed to be paying a fee between €3.5m and €5m to Los Blancos, for the transfer of the Argentine midfielder.

Gago will sing a four-year deal with Valencia, who were on the market looking for a midfield reinforcement after the exit of Topal, and once the negotiations to bring Bruno Soriano from Villarreal have seem to come to a stall.

The 26-year-old player has arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu in the winter of 2007, on a €18m transfer deal from Boca Juniors, arriving at the same time as Higuain, when Fabio Capello was still the manager of the merengues.
