OFFICIAL: Juventus complete Lucio deal

Transfer window, Juventus, Inter, Lúcio | 2012-07-04 22:03

Juventus have completed the signing of Lucio, on a free transfer, following the veteran defender’s early release from Inter Milan.

The Old Lady have confirmed on their official website that Lucio has passed a medical exam in Turin and has now penned down a two-year deal with the club.

The Brazilian man will earn €2.6m per season with the bianconeri, plus a number of performance-related bonuses.

Lucio still had two seasons left in his deal with the nerrazzurri, but the club let him go earlier, after mutual consent and he has now became Juventus’ fourth signing, this summer, as the Serie A champions have already secured the services of Sebastian Giovinco, Mauricio Isla and Kwadwo Asamoah.
