Everton target Benfica's Cardozo

Everton are on the hunt for a new attacker and, according to reports, Benfica's Oscar Cardozo is being considered as a potential reinforcement.

According to Daily Mail, the Paraguay international is at Everton's target list, together with Hugo Rodallega from Wigan.

The Merseyside outfit are said to be plotting a £15m (€19m) bid for the 29-year-old striker, who has also been linked with moves to Galatasaray e do Fenerbahçe. Furthermore, Serie A side Roma are also supposedly interested in signing the Benfica ace, ahead of the upcoming season.

Cardozo has a contract with the Eagles until the summer of 2014 and his buy out clause is of(£48m) €60m.
