Portugal have lost at home to Turkey and will head to Euro 2012 with their motivation on a low.

At the Estádio da Luz, in Lisbon, the Portuguese failed to impress and left their last friendly match with a 1-3 defeat.

Bulut guided Turkey to a 0-2 lead with goals at 35' and 52'. Manchester United winger Nani reduced at 57' and Portugal had a golden opportunity to equalise but Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty-kick at 65'.

Real Madrid's Pepe and Valencia's Ricardo Costa shared the blame on an own goal in the last gasp of the game, sealing an embarrassing 1-3 defeat.

The Portuguese, who were drawn into the “group of death” in Euro 2012 alongside Holland, Germany and Denmark, left the pitch booed by their own supporters.

Croatia tie at Norway

Earlier this evening, Croatia conceded a 1-1 tie at Norway. Former Arsenal striker Eduardo gave the Croats the lead at 79' but the visitors allowed Norway to equalise through Elyounoussi in the last minute.

Croatia are part of Group C alongside the Republic of Ireland in Euro 2012.
