Marseille have won the Coupe de la Ligue, in France, after beating Olympique Lyonnais on Satruday evening, after extra-time, 0-1.

Brandao scored Marseille’s winner at 105 minutes, the end of the first-half of the extra time.

This was the third French Cup final disputed by Lyon. In 2001 they manage to lift the trophy, while being defeated in both 2007 and 2012.

As for Marseille, they came from a low form stage, once they hadn’t won an official match since February 15, and so they put an end to a long run of 13 consecutive winless games.
