Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has dismissed rumours linking him with a summer move to Manchester City and claims he has no problems in his relationship with team captain Iker Casillas.

Spanish ABC Radio reported earlier this Friday that the Portuguese manager had committed to the Citizens, but the 49 year-old was clear about the subject during a press conference.

“I refute that me or anyone in my name has reached an agreement with Manchester City”, he said.

“I have no need to talk about this (whether he will continue in Madrid next season), because there is nothing to talk about. I have a contract and those questions don't make sense.”

No problems with Casillas

Mourinho has been reported to have a conflict with team skipper Iker Casillas, with the relationship between the two having allegedly soured over the years.

However, the Portuguese has guaranteed he has no trouble with the goalkeeper or with any other player in the squad.

“The history of Iker is a good history but it's not real. There is no history. I have a good relationship with him, as I do with all the other players.”
