Arsenal ace Robin van Persie is being lured with an offer from Real Madrid and the Gunners fear he could be tempted with a move to the Santiago Bernabéu.

According to Daily Express, the Merengues have turned Van Persie into their top target and are set to offer £25 million for the striker, despite also being interested in Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.

The Citizens themselves are also competing to secure the Dutchman’s services by offering him a staggering £200,000 a week. However, the report suggests the 28 year-old may be reluctant to play for any other Premier League club, while Arsenal are keen to give him a £125,000 a week extension with a £5 million sign-in bonus.
