Sir Alex - We will resist City pressure

Manchester United, Manchester City, Ferguson | 2012-03-14 22:52

Sir Alex Ferguson has warned rivals Manchester City that United won’t crack as the end of the season approaches.

The Scotsman has reminded that the Red Devils have the experience to remain on top after outranking the Citizens in the Premier League top seat last weekend.

Mancini’s men secured the leadership for 28 games but have lost points in critical moments and their bitter rivals have managed to swoop the top seat and will now look to keep it during the run-in.

“We have that experience and it does help. We won’t get nervous. Against West Brom we kept playing our football when the fans were thinking ‘just get us a second.’ It didn’t concern the players one bit. It is good to see that kind of temperament.”
