Robin van Persie willing to talk to AC Milan

Robin van Persie's agents are willing to listen to offers from AC Milan as the Dutchman was linked with a move to San Siro.

Van Persie's contract with Arsenal expires in 2013 and the goalscorer is yet to initiate extension talks. An exit from the Emirates in the summer is a possible scenario if the 28 year-old decides not put a new deal pen to paper and Milan are paying attention in order to swoop the player to bolster their squad.

Van Persie is understood to be the Rossoneri's main target for Milan's attack next season, with Manchester City's Carlos Tévez coming forward as an option as well. And he would welcome talks with the Italian giants, his representatives, Jeroen Hoogewerf and Cornelis Vos, admitted.

“AC Milan want Van Persie? Very good! We can talk about it,” they were quoted as saying in Tuttomercatoweb.com.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has already expressed this Thursday he would be delighted to sign the Dutch if he became available.
