Dzeko assist not enough to avoid Brazil win (2-1)

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil | 2012-02-28 21:44

Brazil beat Dzeko’s Bosnia and Herzegovina (2-1) in a friendly match thanks to a last minute winner.

In St. Gallen, Switzerland, the Brazilians faced an outfit who didn’t qualify for Euro 2012 after crashing in the play-offs against Portugal. With Manchester City’s Dzeko in the starting XI, the Bosnians saw the Canarinha take the lead at only four minutes, with a goal from Real Madrid full-back Marcelo.

However, Dzeko would assist Vedad Ibisevic at 11’, in an emotional kick-off.

The final 2-1 would only arrive three minutes into extra-time in the second half, when Sasa Papac netted in his own goal, sealing the win for Brazil.
