Antonio Conte pleased with Serie A title pressure

Serie A, Juventus, Antonio Conte | 2012-02-15 15:14

Antonio Conte expressed his satisfaction with Juventus' return to the Italian title race, after several years without being one of the strongest contenders to win the scudetto.

The bianconeri manager insisted that the pressure of competing for the Serie A's top position is being taken in the best of ways by his team, as they are all pleased to be playing a key role again, after enduring a string of not so good past seasons.

We’ve got back to playing a key role
"What’s happening to us this year is obviously very pleasing. It’s been many years since Juventus were one of the key teams in the race for the league title," Conte told reporters in a press conference.

"Something great is happening, something that must fill us with satisfaction and pride."

"We’ve got back to playing a key role and to being competitive in very little time. For us it’s a positive pressure."

"Many things have changed and the team have continued their development process from every aspect: organisational, tactical, physical and psychological," Conte concluded.

Juventus are currently in the second place of the Serie A table, two points behind AC Milan, but have two games in hand.
