Wigan's Victor Moses would consider playing for England

England, Nigeria, Moses | 2011-11-15 16:32

Wigan forward Victor Moses would play for England if selected by Fabio Capello despite having named for Nigeria's squad.

The Nigeria-born player has lived in England since he was 11 and has served international duty for the Three Lions' under-21 squad. He has been selected for recent Nigeria fixtures, but failed to play.

“Let's be honest, if he got called up for the England squad, could you see him turning it down? I couldn't”, he agent, Tony Finnigan, told the Wigan Evening Post.

The 20 year-old still has a choice to make and Finnigan believes he would be tempted with a switch to England's colours.

"It's Vic's choice at the end of the day and while Nigeria are only playing friendlies he's still able to commit to England. He can only do that if he's called up, though, and I'm not sure how many times Fabio Capello's been to Wigan recently.''
